Breakfast
We serve a full cooked or continental breakfast between 8:30 am and 10:30 am in the main house, either on the deck or inside depending on weather conditions. There's no better way to start your day than with locally sourced, homemade food.
Sample Breakfast Menu
- Fresh orange juice
- Fresh seasonal fruits, picked from the Sugarloaf orchard or bought at the local farmers' market, with yoghurt and muesli
- Local free-range eggs… boiled, poached, scrambled or fried as you wish
- Locally smoked bacon and sausages and locally grown tomatoes
- Multigrain bread or, if you prefer, croissants bought fresh each morning with home made jams and Seville orange marmalade
- Fresh locally roasted coffee, pure Ceylon tea or herbal infusions
Lodge tariffs and payment facilities
- Arrival times: After 3:00 pm or by arrangement.
- Check out: 11:00 am
- Summer Room Tariff: $270 per double room (December to Easter inclusive)
- Winter Room Tariff: $240 per double room (After Easter to 30th November)
- Long-Stay Tariff: Special rates for longer stays (1 week or more) by negotiation
- Price includes: Cooked breakfast, tea and coffee in the bedrooms and lodge, pre-dinner wine and hors d'oeuvres, and GST (N.Z. Goods & Services Tax).
- Payment facilities: Visa, MasterCard, American Express.
